PromptPay QR code generator
Make a PromptPay QR code that customers can pay from any Thai bank’s app: type your PromptPay phone number or ID card number, add an amount if you like, and print the code for your counter or send it to a customer.
Runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent to us or stored.
How to make a PromptPay QR with an amount
Type your PromptPay phone number or ID card number, then the amount in baht. The code updates as you type: download it as an image, print it or send it in a chat. When the customer scans it, the amount is already filled in.
Phone number or ID card number
Use the one your PromptPay is registered to: a 10-digit phone number, a 13-digit ID card or tax number, or a 15-digit e-wallet ID. The money goes to the bank account linked to that PromptPay.
A counter QR or a QR for one bill
Leave the amount empty for one code on your counter or menu that customers use for any amount. Add an amount when you send a code for a single bill or a deposit, so nobody mistypes it.
Check the name before you print
Scan the code with your own banking app first and stop before you confirm: the app shows the name registered to your PromptPay. If the name is right, the code is right.
Take deposits on bookings
On a UrlsTree booking page, clients pick a time and, on Business, pay a PromptPay deposit to your account when they book, with a 0% fee from UrlsTree. The slot is held for 15 minutes while the deposit arrives.
Questions
- Which banking apps can scan it?
- Every Thai banking app that pays by PromptPay: K PLUS, SCB EASY, Krungthai NEXT, Bangkok Bank, krungsri, ttb and the rest. The code follows the Thai QR Payment standard.
- Should I add an amount?
- Add one for a single bill, so the customer cannot mistype it. Leave it empty for a code on your counter that works for any amount.
- Does the code expire?
- No. The code holds your PromptPay number (and the amount, if you added one), so it keeps working. Make a new code for a different amount.
- Is my number safe?
- The code is made in your browser and never sent to us. Anyone who scans it sees your PromptPay name, as with any PromptPay QR.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. The generator is free and needs no account, and payments go straight from the customer’s bank to yours: we never touch them.
- Can customers book and pay a deposit too?
- Yes. With UrlsTree, clients pick a time on your booking page and, on Business, pay a PromptPay deposit straight to your account.
