Hungry Hub alternative for your own restaurant page: reservations, QR ordering and PromptPay with no commission
Hungry Hub is a marketplace where diners in Thailand find a restaurant by city, party size and time and book a package: all-you-can-eat, party packs, omakase, birthdays, staycations. A restaurant joins through a sales process — a form, a callback, a promotion package, a contract — pays no joining fee and a commission (GP) that starts at 12% of what guests book and eat, and runs its bookings and packages in Hungry Hub’s partner portal. UrlsTree is the restaurant’s own page: the link in your bio and the QR code on each table open your menu, guests reserve a table for their party and, on Business ($9 a month), order from the table, pay you by PromptPay and pre-order a set menu before they arrive. You set it up yourself in about ten minutes, and nobody takes a percentage.

Hungry Hub’s pages give different partner totals (1,100+ restaurants on its join page, 2,000+ restaurants and hotels on its homepage), so none is quoted as fact here. Its 3–5 day callback comes from a partner article dated 2022. The two are not the same kind of product: Hungry Hub brings diners; UrlsTree does not.
Where Hungry Hub is better
- Diners: a consumer marketplace and app where people search a city by party size and time, browse packages and book — new guests your own page cannot bring.
- Packages: all-you-can-eat, party packs, D.I.Y sets and fixed-price deals built with its sales team, with an up-sell it says adds about ฿900 a head on average.
- Promotion: special promotions, bloggers and influencers, professional photos, a week in its new-restaurants section and corporate diners, with no entry fee and no charge until a guest eats.
- Prepayment on packages that require it, by card, Thai QR, WeChat Pay or Alipay, non-cancellable; its own Booking ID, SMS review links and the Red Table awards.
Where UrlsTree is different
- Cost: Hungry Hub takes a commission from 12% of what each guest books and eats, also when you cancel a booking. UrlsTree takes 0%: Free costs nothing and Business is $9 a month whatever you sell.
- Getting started: Hungry Hub’s FAQ lists five steps — fill a form, wait for a callback, build a promotion package, sign a contract, then sell — and asks for a storefront, enough tables, service staff and an average spend of ฿300 a head or more. UrlsTree is a sign-up: name and photo, your menu (a photo of the paper menu or a few typed dishes), how many tables, your hours, how guests pay, live in about ten minutes, a one-table café included.
- Your own page: Hungry Hub lists you inside its marketplace, with your packages, prices and seats managed in its portal. UrlsTree is your own page at your own address: menu at /menu on every plan, table reservations by party size, a QR code per table, your delivery apps and LINE.
- Money: a guest who prepays on Hungry Hub pays Hungry Hub, which transfers it to you on the 10th and 20th. On UrlsTree Business, a deposit, a table order or a set-menu pre-order is paid by PromptPay into your own account (or by card through your own Stripe), and the order is yours to confirm.
- The day: Hungry Hub’s portal and partner app list bookings, take Arrived or No-show within 24 hours, and export reports. UrlsTree’s Today screen lists today’s reservations by sitting with Arrived, No-show, a seat at a table and walk-ins, next to every table’s open orders from the QR menu — and QR ordering is something Hungry Hub does not do.
- Diners: Hungry Hub brings guests who are looking for a deal, and that is what you pay for. UrlsTree brings none: it is the page for guests who already found you on Instagram, LINE, Google Maps or at the table.
Pick Hungry Hub if…
You run a restaurant with a storefront, tables and staff, sell buffets or set packages at ฿300 a head or more, and want diners who are browsing for a deal to find you — paying a share of each bill for them.
Pick UrlsTree if…
You already have guests on Instagram, LINE and Google Maps and want them to reserve a table, order from a QR code and pay you by PromptPay on your own page, with no contract and no commission — a one-table café included.
Questions
- What does Hungry Hub charge a restaurant?
- Per its partner FAQ: no joining fee, and a commission (GP) that starts at 12%, calculated on what guests book and eat, so you pay only when a booking is marked Arrived. Its partner FAQ adds that bookings the restaurant cancels are charged too, while a guest’s cancellation or no-show is not. UrlsTree takes 0%: Free is free and Business is $9 a month.
- Can I use both?
- Yes. Hungry Hub brings diners looking for a package; UrlsTree is the page your own guests reach from your bio, LINE and the QR code on the table. Nothing on UrlsTree depends on where a guest found you.
- Does Hungry Hub do QR ordering at the table?
- Not that its pages describe: its partner portal handles bookings, packages, table allocation and reports. On UrlsTree Business, each table’s QR code opens your menu and guests order and pay from the table.
